week 10

I enjoyed this week. Probably because it's the last week? hmmm... Anyway, I enjoyed listening to the Npr radio. I was able to download an audiobook. I thought the sound quality was great!

If I get an mp3 player. I will definately use it to download audio books. From where else? OCLS. :-)

Week 9

I loved the Library musical. It's kinda like something you think about. But nobody usually has the guts to do something like that. I'm sure they were a local theater group because they were very good. I'm not quite sure about all the copyright stuff. I need to read more about that. I Liked the music map. Lot's of groups I can research and listen to. I also liked the last. fm you can create your own radio station.

Week 8

With help from my co-workers we posted work pictures on flickr.

Week 7

I liked reading the doggie profiles on dogster. I had no idea there are so many groomers in Orlando.The Tron video was fun to watch! I also enjoyed chug-a-lug.

Week 6

I watched the library video. I thought it was very well done. It showed parents and children together learning. I liked the wikimapia also. It also gave detailed information on parks, lakes, and oceans.

Week 5

I checked out Eventful. You can check out different events coming to town. concerts, support groups, arts, and more. I also looked at med story for health information.
Daily motion is cool... it's alot like youtube. You can post videos. I got to see the eifel tower at night all lit up!

Week 4

Well, I checked out "Yelp: which was pretty cool. I'm always looking for good places to check out. The "Pandora" music site was neat also. You just type in your favorite band and it will bring up music by that group and similiar groups. I also checked out "Flickr". Pretty cool pics from all over the world.
I was already familiar with myspace and youtube.

I tried the Grokker search. I used Asheville, N.C. since I like to vacation there. I liked the fact that you could modify your search results.

Week 2

Well, here I am! Christina got me started with my blog. Without her help I wouldn't have come this far. Thanks also to Ed for sharing his ideas.

Week 1

This is my first time blogging. It should be challenging and fun. Who knows maybe... I'll finish the course and get my mp3 player! By the way I hope everyone had a nice 4th. Well it's off to week 2.

Loverboy and Romantics concert

Did anybody go to the concert downtown and see Loverboy and the Romantics?
It was great hearing some of the old tunes from the 80's.
